Barcamp UPSA 2014 is a free networking forum bringing people together for a day of discussion. Its going to be held on UPSA (University of Professional Studies, Accra campus.This event is a social networking feature, answering questions usually asked relating to our strings of life. It will take place on May 3, 2014 at LBC Auditorium, UPSA. The theme is “Selfless Volunteering; A Catalyst for Change in the 21st Century”
This barcamp will focus on Social Media, Business, Entreprenuership, etc.  Some confirmed mentors who will be available include: Mr. Gabriel King Akpalu (Marketing Consultant), Mr. Francis Abotsi (Author and Career Counsellor), Ms. Afua Ankomah (Information Technology), Mrs.Okai Anderson (Law), Mr Ben Sasu (Consturction and Engineering), Dr. Moses Okine (Radio and the Electronic Media), Paapa Essien (Oil and Gas), Nii Ampem Darko Adawoo (Graphic Designing and Creative Art). 
As usual, the Barcamp will feature multiple user-generated breakout sessions about topics relevant to the University of Professional Studies, Accra and beyond.

If you are interested in organizing a breakout session, let us know, especially if you have special needs.
Also its FREE. All you need is a printed copy of your Free ticket with you and you’re good to go.There will be no tickets available on the day of the event.. Inspite of all, remember, opportunity mostly comes but once.

Komla Dumor – An Epic Novel

Yes…We all sad.

I found it hard to sleep last night. There was a lot of sadness, anger and frustration in my heart as thoughts of Komla Dumor’s untimely demise filled my head.

Sadness, because a great Ghanaian man with a great life story with even greater potential died. 

Anger, because, God, Why did you let him die?! 

Frustration, because his death gave me an intense feeling of impotent irritation and disappointment. They way I feel when I read book 3 or book 5 of a great fantasy novel series and realise that it’s actually meant to be part of a 7-part series and the author hasn’t finished the next installment…
